Dear colleagues!
At the current time of the moscow-rashists attack on Ukraine, it is the duty of each of us to help Ukraine to the best of our ability. The first President of the USA, George Washington, said: "Every post is honorable in which a man can serve his country."
Starting this journal, the Publication System of the Lviv University of Business and Law is taking the second step to intensifying the efforts of scientists in Ukraine and the whole world to bring Ukraine closer to victory in its legal, economic, political and cultural reconstruction. The first step was the publication of the collective monograph "David and Goliath: problems of security and sustainable development of Ukraine in conditions of war" (June 2022), which testified to the existence of a request in the scientific community to create an interdisciplinary platform for discussing issues of war and post-war reconstruction.
This journal was founded on the initiative of Doctor of Law, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Inventor of Ukraine Lyubomir Sopilnyk and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine Larisa Yankovska.
The journal's purpose is to create a platform for the publication of scientific research devoted to the problems of war (excluding research containing information with limited access) and reconstruction in wartime and postwar. We strive to realize the benefits of an interdisciplinary approach fully. So we encourage publishing articles in such subject areas as law (especially international law and human rights), economics (especially wartime economics), international relations, public administration, journalism, sustainable development, history, technology and construction.
ACWR has several features.
1) Publishing in ACWR is entirely free for authors. We do not charge any fees from authors (except the Golden OA). Funding for the development of the journal is carried out through sponsorship, the subscription mechanism and the Golden OA tool.
2) This journal adheres to best editorial practices, including COPE and PERK, and ensures that all articles are checked for plagiarism and undergo quality double-blind peer review.
3) The journal publishes articles exclusively in English. The editors perform proofreading of papers accepted for publication. Abstracts and titles of articles will also be available in Ukrainian. In addition, the editorial office provides Ukrainian translations of titles and abstracts for foreign authors.
4) We aim to emphasize the applied orientation of the journal; therefore each article will end with a "recommendations" section, which will be translated into Ukrainian and placed in the abstract.
